Full-size SUV
Sell your Chevrolet Tahoe
Selling a Chevrolet Tahoe on AutoHouseIQ means listing it once with its VIN and a clear record of trim, two- or four-wheel drive, seating and towing equipment. Dealers approved by our team then bid against the reserve you set, and you choose whether to accept the highest bid.
Updated
Which Tahoe you have
The Tahoe is a body-on-frame, three-row SUV sold in two- and four-wheel drive, in trims including LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier and High Country. Engines have included V8s and, on recent years, a diesel. Second-row captain's chairs or a bench, and features such as air suspension, are worth confirming because they change the vehicle's specification.
Towing and use
Many Tahoes tow. Record the towing package, the hitch, any brake controller, and what the vehicle has towed if you know. Photograph the hitch area and the rear bumper. If the vehicle was used for business or by a fleet, say so; an accurate description is easier to bid on than a vague one.
Interior and records
Photograph all three rows and the cargo area, and check that the power liftgate, folding seats and rear climate controls work. Then gather service records, the title or loan payoff details, and every key. Checking the VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website completes the picture.
Start with your Tahoe's VIN
AutoHouseIQ currently operates in the United States, and sellers and dealers can register from anywhere in the US. Live trading opens as enough dealers approved by our team are ready, so registering does not mean auctions are live in your area yet. Additional countries may open later.
Chevrolet Tahoe questions
- Should I mention the towing package on my Tahoe?
- Yes. Towing equipment is part of the vehicle's specification. Record what is fitted and photograph the hitch, so dealers bid on what the Tahoe actually has.
- My Tahoe was a police or fleet vehicle. Can I list it?
- Yes. State its earlier use clearly in the description. Our team reviews every vehicle before it goes to dealers, and a history that is stated up front is one nobody can be surprised by.
Selling on AutoHouseIQ
- Is AutoHouseIQ a dealer?
- No. AutoHouseIQ is a neutral platform that connects private sellers with dealers approved by our team. It is never the buyer or the seller of a vehicle.
- What happens if nobody bids or the reserve isn't reached?
- There is no sale. You set the reserve, so you are never obliged to sell below it. If the reserve isn't reached, you can relist, adjust or talk through your options with our team.
- How does AutoHouseIQ make money?
- AutoHouseIQ charges a platform fee to the participating dealer on a successful transaction, as set out in its commercial terms. Sellers are always free β AutoHouseIQ never takes the sale proceeds.
- Is my information shared?
- Your contact details are not shared while dealers bid. They are only released to a dealer once you accept a winning offer and the transaction opens. AutoHouseIQ never sells your data.
