Sports coupe and convertible
Sell your Ford Mustang
To sell a Ford Mustang on AutoHouseIQ, list it once with its VIN, then confirm the engine, the transmission, coupe or convertible, and any modifications. Dealers approved by our team bid in a time-boxed auction against the reserve you set, and nothing is sold unless you accept.
Updated
Which Mustang you have
Mustangs are sold as a fastback coupe and a convertible, with turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost and V8 GT versions, manual and automatic transmissions, and limited editions on top. The Mustang Mach-E shares the name but is a separate electric SUV with its own page in a dealer's eyes. Confirm the engine and transmission yourself rather than relying on the trim name alone.
Modifications and originality
Performance cars are often modified: exhausts, intakes, tunes, suspension, wheels. Record every change, and say whether you still have the original parts. Some dealers prefer a car as it left the factory and some do not mind; either way they need to know what they are bidding on.
What to photograph
The front splitter and lower bumper, which sit close to the road; the wheels for curb marks; the tires; the seats and steering wheel; and, on a convertible, the top raised and lowered with the seals and rear window in view. Note any warning lights on the dash at startup.
Start with your Mustang's VIN
AutoHouseIQ currently operates in the United States, and sellers and dealers can register from anywhere in the US. Live trading opens as enough dealers approved by our team are ready, so registering does not mean auctions are live in your area yet. Additional countries may open later.
Ford Mustang questions
- Can I sell a tuned or modified Mustang?
- Yes, if you describe it accurately. List each modification and whether the original parts come with the car. AutoHouseIQ does not judge whether a modification raises or lowers a bid; the dealers bidding do.
- Is the Mustang Mach-E listed the same way?
- Yes, through the same journey, but it is a different vehicle: an electric SUV. Record its battery range and charging equipment rather than engine details.
Selling on AutoHouseIQ
- Is AutoHouseIQ a dealer?
- No. AutoHouseIQ is a neutral platform that connects private sellers with dealers approved by our team. It is never the buyer or the seller of a vehicle.
- What happens if nobody bids or the reserve isn't reached?
- There is no sale. You set the reserve, so you are never obliged to sell below it. If the reserve isn't reached, you can relist, adjust or talk through your options with our team.
- How does AutoHouseIQ make money?
- AutoHouseIQ charges a platform fee to the participating dealer on a successful transaction, as set out in its commercial terms. Sellers are always free β AutoHouseIQ never takes the sale proceeds.
- Is my information shared?
- Your contact details are not shared while dealers bid. They are only released to a dealer once you accept a winning offer and the transaction opens. AutoHouseIQ never sells your data.
