Compact SUV

Sell your Mazda CX-5

Selling a Mazda CX-5 on AutoHouseIQ begins with the VIN and a record of the engine, front- or all-wheel drive and the trim, from Sport to Signature. Add photos and an honest condition record, set your reserve, and dealers approved by our team bid in a time-boxed auction.

Updated

Which CX-5 you have

The CX-5 is a compact SUV sold with front- or all-wheel drive, a four-cylinder engine and, on higher trims of recent years, a turbocharged four-cylinder, in trims that have included Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Carbon Edition and Signature. The CX-50 is a separate model. Confirm the engine and trim against the vehicle.

Interior and finish

Photograph the seats, the steering wheel, the center console and the infotainment screen, and the cargo area. Note any interior wear and any trim that rattles or is damaged. Photograph the paint in daylight from each corner and record scratches or dents with a close-up each.

Records to have ready

Service records, the title or your lender's details, and every key. Check the VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website before you list, and record any recall work already done, so the dealer reading your record sees the full picture. If driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control or a 360-degree camera are fitted, check that each works and record any that do not.

Start with your CX-5's VIN

AutoHouseIQ currently operates in the United States, and sellers and dealers can register from anywhere in the US. Live trading opens as enough dealers approved by our team are ready, so registering does not mean auctions are live in your area yet. Additional countries may open later.

Mazda CX-5 questions

Is a CX-50 listed as a CX-5?
No. The CX-50 is a separate model. Record the model your VIN and title show so the listing describes the right vehicle.
Does the turbocharged engine need to be recorded?
Yes. Engine is part of the specification, and two CX-5s of the same year can differ. Confirm it against the vehicle and your documents.

Selling on AutoHouseIQ

Is AutoHouseIQ a dealer?
No. AutoHouseIQ is a neutral platform that connects private sellers with dealers approved by our team. It is never the buyer or the seller of a vehicle.
What happens if nobody bids or the reserve isn't reached?
There is no sale. You set the reserve, so you are never obliged to sell below it. If the reserve isn't reached, you can relist, adjust or talk through your options with our team.
How does AutoHouseIQ make money?
AutoHouseIQ charges a platform fee to the participating dealer on a successful transaction, as set out in its commercial terms. Sellers are always free β€” AutoHouseIQ never takes the sale proceeds.
Is my information shared?
Your contact details are not shared while dealers bid. They are only released to a dealer once you accept a winning offer and the transaction opens. AutoHouseIQ never sells your data.
