Sell your Ram 1500

To sell a Ram 1500 on AutoHouseIQ, list it with its VIN and confirm the cab, bed length, engine, trim and whether it has air suspension. Add photos and an honest condition record; dealers approved by our team bid against your reserve, and you decide whether to sell.

Updated

Which Ram 1500 you have

The Ram 1500 has been sold as a Regular Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab, in two- or four-wheel drive, with V6, V8, eTorque mild-hybrid, diesel and, more recently, turbocharged six-cylinder engines. Trims run from Tradesman and Big Horn through Laramie, Rebel, Limited and Longhorn to the TRX. The Ram 1500 Classic was sold alongside the newer truck for several years, so confirm which one you have.

What to photograph and record

The bed and tailgate, including any RamBox storage; the hitch and towing equipment; all four tires; and the cab interior. Note whether the truck has air suspension and whether it works as it should, and record any lift, wheels or other changes from how the truck left the factory.

Records to find before you list

Maintenance records, the title or your lender's payoff details, every key fob, and receipts for any major repairs. Checking the VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website before listing lets you record the recall status yourself rather than leaving it as a question.

Start with your 1500's VIN

AutoHouseIQ currently operates in the United States, and sellers and dealers can register from anywhere in the US. Live trading opens as enough dealers approved by our team are ready, so registering does not mean auctions are live in your area yet. Additional countries may open later.

Ram 1500 questions

How do I know if my Ram 1500 is a Classic?
The VIN decode and your title will show the model, and the trucks look clearly different inside and out. If you are unsure, describe what you see and our team will help confirm it during review.
Does air suspension need to be recorded?
Yes. It is part of the truck's specification, and its current working condition matters. Record whether it is fitted and whether it works, so the description matches the truck.

Selling on AutoHouseIQ

Is AutoHouseIQ a dealer?
No. AutoHouseIQ is a neutral platform that connects private sellers with dealers approved by our team. It is never the buyer or the seller of a vehicle.
What happens if nobody bids or the reserve isn't reached?
There is no sale. You set the reserve, so you are never obliged to sell below it. If the reserve isn't reached, you can relist, adjust or talk through your options with our team.
How does AutoHouseIQ make money?
AutoHouseIQ charges a platform fee to the participating dealer on a successful transaction, as set out in its commercial terms. Sellers are always free β€” AutoHouseIQ never takes the sale proceeds.
Is my information shared?
Your contact details are not shared while dealers bid. They are only released to a dealer once you accept a winning offer and the transaction opens. AutoHouseIQ never sells your data.
